Leadership Coaching provides ongoing, culturally informed accompaniment for immigrant and intercultural leaders and their partners serving within or in relationship with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, coaching creates a trusted space for discernment, encouragement, and strategic reflection that recognizes the particular opportunities and challenges of leading across cultures.
Through ongoing coaching relationships, leaders are strengthened to navigate ministry with greater resilience, clarity, confidence, and faithfulness, all while remaining rooted in their cultural identity, lived experience, and sense of calling.
Coaches meet with leaders individually, walking alongside them over time rather than through a single workshop or one-time consultation. Since 2018, Accents has served or coached more than 400 leaders across its national network, a relationship-first approach that has held steady even as the network has grown to reach leaders in ten states.
Coaching conversations happen in whatever language allows a leader to think and speak most freely, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Korean. Cost is never meant to stand between a leader and support: scholarships and additional financial assistance are available so that participation reflects a leader's calling and need rather than their ability to pay.
Co-founder Lindsay Armstrong's own portfolio at the New Church Development Commission spans more than 32 new worshiping communities, over half of them immigrant congregations, one measure of the scale Accents coaches work at across the wider network.
Common Questions

- How can I connect with other immigrant leaders?
