Rev. Dr. Lindsay P. Armstrong

The Reverend Dr. Lindsay P. Armstrong is a pastor, executive leader, strategist, and teacher who serves as Executive Director and CEO of New Church Development Commission, Inc., the startup studio of the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta. With more than twenty years of senior leadership experience, she has helped build one of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)'s most extensive ecosystems for developing leaders and launching and strengthening new worshiping communities. She is also a founding leader of Accents.

For more than a decade, she has worked alongside immigrant, intercultural, and historically underrepresented leaders to strengthen their ministries, amplify their wisdom, and cultivate partnerships grounded in trust, mutuality, and shared learning. Her portfolio at New Church Development Commission spans more than 32 new worshiping communities, over half of them immigrant congregations. She is a persistent advocate for a church transformed by the leaders and communities too often overlooked, delighting in encouraging emerging leaders, connecting people across cultures, and helping communities imagine new possibilities.

Lindsay's team at New Church Development Commission also coordinates registration for Accents' Friends on the Journey gatherings, one of several ways her institutional home and her calling to Accents work side by side.

Lindsay loves the church, especially when it is becoming something it did not yet know it could be. She lives in Decatur, Georgia, and enjoys travel, soccer, hiking, kayaking, mountains, good conversation, and time around a lively table.
