Rev. Rafael Viana is a Presbyterian pastor, church planter, and Co-Founder of Accents, an initiative dedicated to cultivating immigrant and intercultural leadership. For more than two decades, he has walked alongside immigrant and intercultural communities in Brazil and the United States, cultivating leaders, strengthening communities, and building partnerships rooted in mutuality and belonging.

Rafael is the founding pastor of Casa Brasil Church, a Portuguese-speaking Brazilian congregation, and co-founder of El Camino Church, serving the Venezuelan community, both in Metro Atlanta. He is passionate about equipping leaders to navigate the opportunities and challenges of intercultural ministry with creativity, resilience, and hope. Through coaching, teaching, and speaking, he encourages churches to recognize the gifts of immigrant communities and imagine new ways of flourishing together.

He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico and is currently completing an Executive Certificate in Religious Fundraising through the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. He has also completed training toward DOJ Recognition & Accreditation, preparing him to serve immigrant communities through faith-based immigration accompaniment. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, Rafael believes that meaningful leadership begins with listening well, cultivating authentic relationships, and creating spaces where every culture and every voice can help shape God's mission.
